EXAMPLE INTINERARY 1 The Cape
DAY ONE
Fly into Cape Town International airport, where you will be met by your guide/driver who will take care of you for the duration of your Cape stay. Transfer to the Victoria Junction Hotel, which is situated on the V&A Waterfront of Cape Town. For the remainder of the day, orientate yourselves and test a few of the pubs and restaurants at the Waterfront.

DAY TWO
Golf today is planned for the Royal Cape. This is the most prestigious and oldest club in Cape Town, situated in the Wynberg district. After freshening up at the clubhouse, enjoy a quick lunch at Royal Cape before making your way directly to the lower cable car for your scenic trip up Table Mountain (weather permitting). From here enjoy spectacular views of the city, harbour and Robben Island. We then descend and. return to the Waterfront, returning to the hotel.
Evening at leisure to enjoy one of the many fine restaurants.

DAY THREE
After breakfast depart from the hotel and travel along the Atlantic Seaboard past the popular beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay and Llandudno en route to the fishing village of Hout Bay. Board Drum Beat Charters for a cruise to Duiker Island to see the seals (weather permitting). Then continue through to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve (Cape Point). Take the funicular or a leisurely walk to the lighthouse. Enjoy the commanding views of the ocean and mountains. Stop for lunch at the Two Oceans Restaurant before returning back to Cape Town via a stop at Simonstown to visit the popular African Penguin Colony before returning to the city centre.

DAY FOUR
Today we depart we depart for the Clovelly Golf Course situated on the False Bay Coastline. The morning will be spent playing 18 holes of golf. At lunchtime return to the city to have lunch at the Hildebrand Restaurant in the Waterfront. After lunch, board a cruise at 1500 that will take you on Robben Island for a tour. The island is well known for its detention of prisoners, involving scores of political leaders and activists during the anti-apartheid struggle, the most famous of whom is the South African past President, Nelson Mandela. The tour will include visits to Mr Mandela's cell and the limestone quarry. After the tour take a cruise back to the Waterfront and return to the hotel at approximately 1830.

DAY FIVE
Check out and depart for the garden route.
Take a leisurely drive through to Hermanus ( 90 minutes , maps included)
Arrive in the small well-known fishing village, and check into Whale Rock Lodge This is a fine guesthouse and you may enjoy the comfort of a home. Relax for the remainder of the afternoon , and take a walk through the village , and along the seaside walkway . The atmosphere of Hermanus is one of culture and the arts. Whale watching is excellent from months June – November. This is the whale capital of the world !
Dinner can be enjoyed at one of the many fine seafood restaurants.

DAY SIX
After breakfast , depart for golf at the Arabella Golf Estate . This is a fairly new course of excellent design , situated alongside the largest natural lagoon in South Africa . After golf , enjoy leisure time exploring this unique seaside village. Your lodge is situated at the beginning of the walkway along the seafront, which is surrounded by the natural fynbos of the Cape, and well worth a stroll.

DAY SEVEN
Today after breakfast , you have a fairly long drive through beautiful countryside to Knysna , the heart of the Garden route. En route , I suggest a stop at Mossel Bay for lunch . Arrive in Knysna late afternoon and check into the Quays Hotel overlooking the bay of Knysna. For the evening we recommend one of the fine restaurants for dinner along the Waterfront .Oysters are highly recommended at the Oyster Catcher .

DAY EIGHT
Golf is planned at Sparrebosch today . This course is built on the heads of Knysna , with splendid views , and a must to play. After golf , you may explore the village , and visit the Feathers Factory shop to possibly purchase one of the fine pieces of art produced here. Knysna is well known for the Feathers Birds Gallery , and is well worth a visit. Dinner at leisure, at one of the many options at the Quays Waterfront..

DAY NINE
You are booked on a Feather Bed tour today , and should be at the Waterfront at 10h00 to depart on this pleasant trip on the lake . Enjoy the scenery , before disembarking , and making your way along the trail by tractor and trailer to the top of the heads. For the more active , a pleasant walk back to the jetty is a good idea. Visit the caves on the way , and learn about this fascinating part of the area. Return in time for lunch , before returning to the waterfront at 14h00. For the remainder of the afternoon , stroll around the Quays Waterfront , and enjoy the ambiance . Dinner options are plentiful !

DAY TEN
Check out and transfer to George Airport for your flight to Durban. Arrive in Durban at midday and transfer through to Selborne. Golf is planned for the afternoon , on this beautifully manicured course. Selborne has retained its natural vegetation , and has wonderful sub tropical vegetation. Water on 16 holes makes for a real challenge.

DAY ELEVEN
Today we have a very early start – as you are going to experience a wonderful day driving into countryside, and up to the Drakensberg. Breakfast will be picnic style at the famous Howick Falls – and then onto the Berg. You will board 4x4 vehicles , and the experience of the day begins as you make your way up the Sani Pass the gateway to the Kingdom of Lesotho. Enjoy spectacular views , over the valley as you climb over 3000 metres into this desolate land of shepherds and stone houses. Meet the local people and visit a local home . These people are known as the blanket people – this being there main dress.
Lunch will be served in the highest pub in Africa , before you make your way back down the pass. Return back to the hotel in the early evening , and relax for an evening at leisure after your long day.

DAY TWELVE
Golf today is planned for the Wild Coast Sun. This is a fine links course with some amazing par threes , and spectacular views over the warm Indian Ocean. After your challenging round , enjoy a leisurely some time to enjoy the facilities of this casino resort , and en route back to lodge stop at one of the restaurants for dinner. ( We will recommend ) . Return to Selborne late evening.

DAY THIRTEEN
Check out of Selborne and head North with your guide. Enjoy interesting information about the battles of 1879 , and enjoy beautiful countryside. Today you are checking into a safari lodge for your game experience. Arrive at the lodge at midday in time for a welcome lunch. Phinda is an exclusive lodge providing luxury accommodation for the discerning tourist. Enjoy an evening game drive in search for the BIG 5, before a delicious dinner is served under the stars.

DAY FOURTEEN
This morning starts with an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge.
Some of the species of animals which you will hopefully encounter will be cheetah, lion, white and black rhino, Nyala, Reed buck , elephant and many more.
Relax for the rest of the morning, or take a walk with your ranger in the reserve. After lunch, RELAX. There are many additional optional activities, which can be arranged. For the evening enjoy another game drive for about 4 hours to search for those ever elusive predators. Dinner at the lodge.
Some of these activities include:- canoeing, black rhino tracking at Mkuze, snorkelling, scuba-diving and big game fishing at Sodwana Bay, flights along the coast, game walks.

These activities are subject to availability. If you are interested please advise us to try and make prior arrangements. After your evening game drive dinner is served and overnight at Phinda Mountain or Forest Lodge.

DAY FIFTEEN
A bush walk before breakfast with one of the game rangers, starts off the third day. After a leisurely breakfast it will be time to pack up and check out before returning to Durban.

DAY THREE
Early rise for your departure to Sani Pass. Enjoy a scenic drive from Durban through the Natal Midlands takes you to Underberg where you will transfer to a 4x4 vehicle for the ascent of the spectacular Sani Pass, which climbs 1300m in 12km, into the mountain Kingdom of Lesotho (passports required to enter Lesotho; some passport holders may require visas). Discover the rustic charm of a Basotho settlement. Enjoy a meal at the highest pub in Africa (2784m) affording majestic views of the mountains. Depart for Selborne. For dinner try a little restaurant down the road from Selborne called the Bell & Anchor.

DAY FOUR
Early breakfast, and then depart South to the famous Wild Coast Sun, where the Skins Tournament took place. A challenging course with stunning scenery. After golf a free afternoon at the Wild Coast Sun to enjoy the casino and many other facilities. Return to Selborne late evening.

DAY FIVE
After breakfast enjoy a round of Golf at Selborne. This is a magnificent course with undulating fairways and rated as one of South Africa’s best kept courses. Water on the 16 holes provides a challenge. Enjoy lunch at the club house. After golf its time to check out of Selborne and head north to Zimbali Lodge. Zimbali is just 42km north of Durban on the lush sub-tropical coast of Kwazulu Natal. Arrive at Zimbali check into your room, relax and unwind for the rest of the afternoon. Enjoy a welcoming dinner out on the pool deck.

DAY SEVEN
After Breakfast test your skills at Durban Country Club. This is one of the oldest courses in Natal and the most prestigious – Boasting the best 3rd hole par 5 hole in the world! For the afternoon depart Durban for a pleasant drive inland towards Pietermaritzburg, and into the area of the Valley of a Thousand Hills. A short stop at the view site for photographs and a moment to absorb the breathtaking views. The tour continues to Assegai to the Zulu Cultural Village of Phezulu. Today you will have the opportunity to meet with this warm and friendly nation, and learn a little of their culture. Zulu dancing and a visit to the curio before departing for Zimbali.

DAY EIGHT
Check out of the Zimbali Lodge. Depart from Durban along the North Coast For a pleasant drive learning about the Zulu Wars, Sugar Farming and local interesting Information. Arrive at Phinda Reserve by Noon in time for a welcome lunch. With Magnificent views overlooking the bushveld Lunch will be relaxing and enjoyable. In the afternoon a game drive is planned for the search of the Big Five. Continuing into the night in search of nocturnal creatures, dinner could be served anywhere !!!!

Early to rise for another game drive in search of the predators after they’re nightly kill. As the sun rises a hot cup of coffee in the bush is welcome. Back at the camp breakfast awaits you.
