The Ayurveda Pavilions are situated in Negombo, a fishing town on the west coast of Sri Lanka renowned as the Little Rome of Sri Lanka for its many Catholic churches.Ayurveda Pavilions offer guests a unique opportunity to experience Ayurveda Therapy in the peace and privacy of their own rooms. The pavilions – either Queen or the larger King – have a private courtyard or garden and therapy area.

On arrival the Ayurvedic doctor will come to the pavilion for a private consultation, and then most of the recommended treatments including herbal oil massage, will be carried out each day in the pavilion ensuring maximum privacy and relaxation. Some treatments such as the herbal steam bath, are taken in the resort’s Ayurveda centre.The restaurant over looking the pool serves fresh juices and individually prepared meals according to each guest’s body type; each item served comes with a description of the health benefits. Meal times are very flexible, so that guests can set their own timetable during their stay, and eat at times to suit them. A private Music therapy session is offered to guests each week, to help retune the inner balance of the mind. Visit the resort’s sister hotel, the Royal Oceanic, a few minutes up the road for a beach, water–sports (in season), squash, a gym and tennis courts. Ayurveda Pavilions is the ideal resort for those wishing to combine a stay including a few days relaxing Ayurveda treatments with some sightseeing around this beautiful island.
